Does anyone have a child with LNS that sits on their own? My son tries so hard but just can't quite do it.

Hi tonia, my son sits up on his own. He's 2 years old, every now and then he looses his balance. He's so strong, been working on his abdominal muscles plus he wears the spyo suit. This has helped greatly! Best wishes

It took Jacob till about 3 to 3 1/2 yrs old till he was able to sit in his own. We would take him on short rides in a wagon with not too much support but enough. And as time went on we were able to go longer and he was able to support his own posture to a point but it helped him get stronger in his trunk. We found he loved the out doors and his motivation to sit up and look around was greatly increased. I'm sure he is a strong boy, and I hope this gives you some hope.
